Activity 1:

(approximate time to complete 2 hours)

1.  Create a 3-4 level Scaffold for a math concept you use at your grade level.


Activity 2:

(approximate time to complete 1 hour)

1.  Take a multi-step math concept, such as long division, and show the progression of “chunking” across at least 3 problems. Make sure to list each step and then combine into “chunks” before you begin the progression.
