OIP Facilitators Meeting

OIP facilitators meetings have been scheduled. These meetings are an opportunity for OIP facilitators to gain information, resources, and tools for continued district implementation. Facilitators will also have a chance to network.

All meetings will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 11:00 a.m. All meeting will be held in the large conference room at the Region 6 office.

New Dropout Prevention Tools

On November 30, 2011, the National High School Center held a Webinar, "Implementing an Early Warning Intervention and Monitoring System to Keep Students On Track in the Middle Grades and High School," to provide an overview of the recently released Early Warning System Middle Grades (EWS MG) Tool and enhanced Early Warning System High School (EWS HS) Tool, as well as the seven-step Early Warning Intervention and Monitoring System (EWIMS) process.

Considering Tier 3 Within an RTI Model

In this article, Dr. Ruth Ervin provides a general overview of special considerations relating to Tier 3 prevention and intervention efforts.
