Target Audience: Teachers grades K-6, Intervention specialists K-8, SLPs, Elementary administrators, curriculum directors, literacy/building coaches, school psychologists, Special Education Directors
In this five part series, participants will understand and implement instructional strategies and interventions based on The Science of Reading in the areas of Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension. Participants will also gain knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) through screening and diagnostic assessments as well as how to set up decision rules for each tier of support. Time will be spent reflecting on current and future practices and the creation of instructional learning strategies.
**Participants must commit to attend all five sessions.**
