Target Audience: Teams members who participated in the Preschool Autism Series: Comprehensive Team Planning Sessions in FY24 are eligible to attend. Teams may include, Preschool Directors, Principals, Special Education Directors, Intervention Specialists, General Education Teachers, Related Services Professionals (OTs, PTs, Psychologists), Paraprofessionals, and Parents of individual students of focus.
Preschool ASD Teams are invited to extend their utilization of the Comprehensive Program Planning process for preschool students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder during the (2024-25) school year. This initiative serves as a professional development continuation following your team's participation in the Preschool Autism Series conducted by OCALI. The series aims to enhance teams' proficiency in applying the Ziggurat model for evaluating and devising instructional plans tailored for young children with ASD. Participants will receive guidance on plan development, selection of progress monitoring strategies, and benefit from on-site observations and coaching by OCALI staff and/or SST personnel. This professional development opportunity is provided at no cost and qualifies participants for OCCRRA credit.
