Target Audience: Pre-requisite: Must have attended the September 6 Ooey Gooey Adventures on Environment and Play. This learning is open to preschool program leaders, teachers, paraprofessionals, and related services.
These virtual sessions are intended to support programs through their adventures in applying Lisa Murphy's "7 Things" (Create, Move, Sing, Discuss, Observe, Read, and Play) to classrooms. Program leaders, teachers, paraprofessionals, and related services staff are invited. Individuals will reflect on their current classroom practices and make changes based on connections to Lisa Murphy on Play, the Science of Reading, Early Child Development Standards, and Developmentally Appropriate Practices to ensure all students' needs are met at all levels of instruction through play. Participants are required to read the text as outlined in the syllabus before each virtual session where group discussion will be facilitated.
