IMPORTANT: Registration will close two business days prior to the event. Virtual meeting links and information will be emailed the business day before.

Virtual sign-in & tech support begin 15 minutes prior to event start time.

Target Audience: SLP's, Interventional Specialists, any educator working with a student and interested in AT to access the curriculum

Do you need time just to think? Does a particular student have you stumped? We can put our brains together and help you through the SETT process. Come with your questions on making curriculum accessible, communication possible, and just plain questions of “how to?” We will use the book: "The New Assistive Tech: Make Learning Awesome for ALL!" By Christopher R. Bugaj. Our brainstorming will be systematically implemented by using the SETT process by Joy Zabala detailed in this book. The SETT process can be used for any student - any ability, needing to access the curriculum. Implementing Assistive Technology can benefit ALL students, those that are taking the general assessment or those that take the Alternate Assessment. The more brains we have the better brainstorming we can do! These will be monthly sessions. You are welcome to attend one or all sessions. Region 6 participants will receive the book for just attending one session: "The New Assistive Tech: Make Learning Awesome For All!" By Christoper R. Bugaj.
