About Us
Ohio's Statewide System of Support
As part of the State System of Support, the State Support Team collaborates with schools, families and regional partners through a continuous improvement process to ensure each child in Ohio has access to a high-quality education. We focus on leadership and team development, and inclusive instructional practices to assist districts and schools in improving outcomes for each child.

Grant Agreement
State Support Teams were created by the Ohio Department of Education as a result of H.B. 115. Sixteen (16) regions were established with a State Support Team (SST). Each SST has a fiscal agent who signs a yearly Grant Agreement with the Ohio Department of Education. The fiscal agent for SST Region 6 is the Auglaize County Educational Service Center.
SSTs receive funding from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (DEW) and the Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY).
Each year SSTs and their fiscal agents receive a Grant Agreement that defines the work that must be delivered to the region by the SST.
