Early Warning Intervention and Monitoring Systems (EWIMS)

What is an Early Warning Intervention and Monitoring System (EWIMS)?

Ohio's Early Warning Intervention and Monitoring System Guide is defined as an evidence-based process for identifying and monitoring students who are at risk of dropping out of school.

Why do we have Early Warning Systems?

We are committed to reducing the number of students who drop out of school each year to improve graduation and post-school outcomes for ALL students.
